Privacy Policy
Delphi
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Overview
Delphi ("the App") is developed by Anton Donohue, operating as Wrenske. Your privacy is important to us. Delphi is designed so that your personal writing stays personal.
Data Stored on Your Device
Delphi stores the following data locally on your device:
- Your journal entries
- Your birth details (date, time, and city) and the birth chart they produce (sun, moon, and rising signs)
- Mood analysis results derived from your writing
The text of your journal entries, your raw birth details, and your mood analysis results never leave your device. All mood analysis is performed on-device. We do not transmit any of these to a server and have no access to them.
Analytics
We collect limited, anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs. We use PostHog, an analytics platform, with our data hosted on PostHog's servers in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com).
The analytics we collect include app usage events (such as which onboarding steps you view, saving a journal entry, tapping a reaction, and paywall or purchase activity) and diagnostic error reports. They also include limited derived, non-identifying information from your onboarding: your computed sun, moon, and rising signs, the goals and preferences you select, and the word count of journal entries. We never collect the text of your journal entries or your raw birth date, time, or city.
PostHog assigns an anonymous identifier to your device and may record a coarse, approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information, we do not use this data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps. We cannot identify individual users from this data.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with PostHog for anonymous analytics. You can view their privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. The anonymous analytics described above are processed on our behalf by PostHog. We have no access to your journal entries or raw birth details, so we cannot share them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
