These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Delphi mobile application ("the app", "Delphi"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Delphi is a personal journaling app that provides daily horoscope-based writing prompts. The app calculates astrological birth chart data based on information you provide (birth date, time, and location) and delivers personalized prompts to support your journaling practice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Delphi. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all journal entries and content you create in the app. Your journal content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. We do not claim any rights to your content.

You are solely responsible for your journal content. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription required: Delphi requires an active subscription to access the app's features.

Paid subscriptions: Delphi offers auto-renewing subscriptions:

Free trial: Some subscription plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription.

Billing: All payments are processed through your Apple ID account via the App Store. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Managing subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Restoring purchases: If you reinstall the app or switch devices, you can restore your subscription using the "Restore Purchases" option in the app.

5. Horoscope Content

The horoscope prompts and astrological content provided in the app are for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to psychological, medical, financial, or legal advice. You should not make important life decisions based solely on horoscope content.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, horoscope content, and branding, is owned by Anton Donohue (operating as Wrenske) and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Astrological calculations are based on standard astronomical algorithms and may differ from other sources. We make no claims about the accuracy or predictive value of horoscope content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Delphi and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Data Loss

Because journal data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from device damage, loss, theft, software updates, or app deletion. We recommend maintaining regular device backups through iCloud or iTunes.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the app.

You may stop using the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Apple's Standard EULA

These Terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of Delphi.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
